Accounts Assistant
£20,000 - £23,000 pro rata, per annum
Part-time, permanent
Start date – as soon as possible and by Wednesday, 17th July latest

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us and support our Assistant Bursar with the management of our purchase ledger and other accounting functions.

In this position, you will assist with a variety of tasks ranging from procurement and accounting, to personnel and administration. Your role will include preparing supplier payments and the maintenance and reconciliation of our billing ledger and petty cash. You will also maintain staff holiday and sickness records, and assist our Bursar and Assistant Bursar with processing the monthly payroll.

The working hours for this role are five hours per day, five days per week, during term-time and approximately half of the school holiday periods, with some additional hours during periods of high activity.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need good attention detail and should understand the need for discretion. You should also have experience of working in an accounts department and be competent using MS Office.  Dependent upon the skills of the candidate, there could be opportunities for the successful candidate to take on additional roles and responsibilities.

Year 4 Form Teacher (maternity cover)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional and collaborative Form Teacher to join our thriving and friendly Middle School team as cover for one of our teachers whilst she is on maternity leave.  The successful candidate will be working as part of a nurturing and hard working department who are committed to ensuring that our pupils are provided with a stimulating education in a rounded and stimulating environment.

The successful candidate will start working, on a fixed term contract, at St Hugh's on Monday, 7th October and it is likely that the finishing date would be Saturday, 4th July 2020.
